Roo!

Roo came to stay with us while Colleen and Chris went on their Honeymoon. It was good practice for me because I was still entertaining the idea of having 4 dogs. Once I got Eddie, that feeling got smooshed way down inside of me, but having cute little Roo around for 10 days made me rethink my idea. We had fun with Roo, but when it came time for Roo to go home to her Mommy and Daddy, I was ready. 4 dogs are just exhausting! Fun, but exhausting! The hardest part was separating Isis and Roo. Isis made a Good Friend in Roo and she was sad to see Roo go home. I took my 3 kids with me to drop Roo off so Colleen and Chris could meet my kids. I also wanted Isis to see that Roo went home to 2 Loving Parents so little Isis wouldn't worry about little Roo. As you can see from the pictures, I think Roo had a Good Time at Aunt Brandy's House!

Colleen and Chris's Wedding

After much anticipation (and waiting!) Colleen finally married her Prince Charming, Chris Walker. The Ceremony was held in the Kingdom Hall off of Kirkman Road. Carolyn and I VBSed from work to go. We met up with Kim and Eric, who we sat with during the Ceremony. The Reception was being held at a later date, so after the Ceremony, we headed back to work. Colleen was simply breathtaking! She looked so radiantly beautiful that day! Here's to many, many years of Wedded Bliss for Colleen and Chris!

Tree!

During a Not So Particular Day after I had returned from my Road Trip, one of the big branches off Grandma's neighbor's tree came down right onto Grandma's fence. What a mess it made! Those fences look so tough and durable, but the tree branch crumpled the pole like tin foil. When Mom and I went to visit Grandma and Hap last week, Uncle Johnny was over fixing the fence. The woman who owns the house next to Grandma refused to pay for it, calling it an Act of God or something. Whatever...Uncle Johnny was there to come to the rescue! I swear that Uncle of mine should wear a cape!

Hap

Hap was using 2 screwdrivers to pull some of the bark off the old tree in their backyard. He worked so hard and looked so cute, I had to take his picture.

A Day With Grandma And Hap

Since Isis and Eddie stayed with Grandma and Hap while Lea and I went on our Road Trip, we stopped at Grandma's on the way home to spend the day with Grandma and Hap and pick up Isis and Eddie. All 3 were happy to see each other and they were pretty tired after each of their Vacations. I was just happy to be 1 hour away from home instead of 14!
