Dinner At The Depot

Friday night, April's parents took us to The Depot, a rustic looking restaurant with DELICIOUS food! The restaurant was set up to look like an old train depot. When you first walk into the lobby, there's a huge diorama (for lack of a better word) of a waterfall and a pond with a waterwheel and all these forest animals around the pond. It is truly fascinating to look at! Kynsley just couldn't get enough of it! She kept walking over to the ledge to peer over at the animals. They just looked so lifelike! A huge chandelier made of anters hangs in the middle of the lobby. Pictures of old train engines and cowboys line the walls as you are escorted to your table. Hard wood floors lead the way to some of the best ribs I have ever eaten! The food was just phenomenal! Kynsley was such a little angel while we were there. I blame it on Papa's sweet tea! As Keon says, they put it in your bottle down South!

Then, on the other side of the parking lot, there's a quaint little chapel built by the man who built the restaurant. It was locked, so I had to take a picture through the window. Just the perfect dinner spot!
