Kevin's Birthday Weekend

So... as you can see by my blog, this year, so far, has been a very exciting year for me. But by far the most exciting part was meeting Kevin. Kevin was Charlie's Best Man at Carolyn's Wedding where I was a Bride's Maid. After absconding with a stray bottle of champagne and sharing some laughs on the porch outside the convention center where the reception was held, I decided I wanted to pursue something more with this dashing Best Man. "Best" is an understatement when describing Kevin. He is positively dreamy! I feel like I'm living in a Fairytale! Getting to know him has shown me what Life is all about. We have had a wild roller coaster of a good time in the past 5 months. I only hope there are more funfilled months ahead of us.

OK...enough gush...let's get on to my next blog entry.

After only knowing Kevin for about a month, I planned a surprise get away for his Birthday. We spent the weekend at the Polynesian Resort, laying around drinking and laughing, eating fabulous food, and just spending time getting to know each other better. It was positively one of the best weekends of my life!


P.S. I must mention here that the chocolate cake was homemade...from scatch...eggs, flour, and cocoa. If you had been around me the weeks leading up to this weekend, you would know the story!
