Mexican Night with Las Senoritas

The Fant! girls (as I call us 3; Terri, Maggie, and I) have been wanting to do Mexican night for a while. We finally decided that when Heather came into town, it would be the perfect time. So the 4 of us went to Chevy's for drinks and dinner to have our Mexican night and visit with Heather.

Grandma and Hap's July Birthday Party

We celebrated Grandma and Hap's birthdays together this year. Belinda and Gina surprised us and came up, too. Belinda had pictures from her and Allen's honeymoon that we looked at. We had a nice dinner and then Grandma and Hap blew out the candles and cake was served. And yes...the canine children got cake, too!

Queenie

Mom and I went up to visit Grandma and Hap for their birthdays in July. They had found a lost dog, who we later found out was named Queenie. Once Grandma and Hap found out who the dog belonged to, the woman who belonged to Queenie told them that Queenie had been spooked by fireworks during the 4th of July and ran off. The woman and Queenie live on the other side of Highway 301, which runs in front of Grandma's house. The woman was surprised Queenie crossed 301, being as busy as it is. But dog and owner were reuinited shortly after we had visited them on this day. Here are some pictures of Queenie, Grandma's Teena, and my 3 kids. Notice how in any of the pictures where people are actually sitting down, they have a lap full of canine...make that canines. I think between the 4 of the canine children they have a bet to see how many of them can actually fit in their human companions' laps. I have some great pictures of my mother eating something, a piece of bread maybe, and all 4 dogs all around her and in her lap. But any of you that know my mother well, know that she HATES having her picture taken and would skin me alive if I put them in this post. So I will leave those images up to your imagination!

April's Last Day Of Work

All good things must come to an end and so April must leave Walt Disney World. April's life is One Big Adventure and a book quite unto itself so she had to leave us to continue on to her Next Exciting Chapter. We had fun on her Last Day of Work and I am proud to call her My Friend. I was lucky enough to be there to Walk Her Out and the last to Say Good Bye. I miss you, April! Thank you for ALL those good times we had...and for those Out There Still To Come!
