Airport

The day after the Wedding we all piled into the rental car to head back to the Airport. We had lunch at TGI Friday's before Roberto caught his plane to Texas to surprise his mom. (She was going through chemo and Roberto shaved his head in support of her treatment. The story is enough to bring tears to your eyes.) Then, Dana taught me how to play poker in one of the bars to help pass the time before we caught our plane home to Florida.

Another wonderful chapter in my incredible Book of Life.

Kristi and Sean's Wedding-Reception

Now the fun can really begin...the Wedding Reception! The Girlfriends of the Groomsmen knew how to party! Who knew tophats and canes could be so much fun...and such great props for drunk people to play with...

Kristi and Sean's Wedding-Ceremony

Finally...the moment we weathered the cold for...the Wedding Ceremony!

The Church was beautiful as was the Ceremony. I don't have many "good" pictures in the Church due to the whole no-flash rule in Churches these days. Kristi was a Blushing Bride and Sean was a Dashing Groom. I got a little emotional (duh...that's like saying a little kid likes a balloon) since I've known Sean for a very longgg time. That blushing bride could've been me about 10 + years ago but we won't tell that story...

They both looked Fairy Tale Happy and the whole chilly trip up North was made warm and cozy covered by the Blanket of their Newlywedded Love...

Toledo Zoo

Since Kristi and Sean's Wedding was in the evening, Roberto and I had the day to visit the Toledo Zoo. It was a beautiful zoo! I am slightly obsessed with Primates (my opinions of monkeys, gorillas, and orangatans go against my Catholic beliefs so I try to keep them on the DL...) and Roberto was sweet enough to indulge me. I also have a small obsession with elephants, thanks to my grandmother. We spent quite a bit of time watching them. It looked like a mom and a baby and it was very touching to watch them interract. This way by far the best way to pass the time away waiting for the Wedding of 2 of your very good friends.
