Kynsley's First Birthday Trip

Before April and Kynsley left the U S of A to join Scott over in Germany, April moved back to her parents house in beautiful North Carolina. A very smart move on April's part, but we sure do miss her. Well, April and Kynsley were supposed to be in Germany by Kynsley's 1st Bithday. With that in mind, April decided to throw Kynsley a Birthday Party in NC before they moved. Me being the crazy, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants sort of girl I am, decided I was going to drive up to NC for Kynsley's Birthday Party on November 4th. The drive was beautiful and it gave me a lot of time to think, which is something I just don't have time for these days. Boy was it good to see April and her family again! I felt like I was Coming Home to my very own family, which is what the Childress Family feels like to me. I'll never forget the feeling of pulling up into their driveway and having April run out the door to greet me. I sure missed her!
